  First off, we waited over 20 minutes for a basic order (1 and a half scoop of chips and a spring roll). Was disappointed when the staff had forgotten our order. When we got our order, it had no salt on it. Not sure whether this is something you have to request in the nation's supposed "best chip shop" but everywhere else in the world when ordering fish & chips or something similar, this is pretty standard. Didn't even get an apology for the piss poor service and below average food. Would not go there again and think their recent "best chip shop" award is a hell of a joke. AVOID.
  
  P.S. to the owner. You ask why are you so busy and successful to an older comment i read. Here's an answer. Customers can make your business but, they can also break it. You wont be very successful for long with those comments. Masterton is growing. I'd be on my A game if I were you. Word of mouth and anything on social media travels fast.
